VITAL STATISTICS.

The New Zealand Gazette of the 18th February contains the Registrar General report on the vital statistics of the Boroughs of Auckland, Thames, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin apd Hokitika during the month of January, 1875. from the figures given below it will be seen that the Borough of Thames still maintains an exceptionall healthy status amongst the Boroughs of the Colony, tho proportion of deaths to the 1000 of population being again the lowest on the list: —•
