It is complained of .that when shooting so early as six o'clock in the morning the sun shines right in the eyes of the competitors, and obscures the targets. Qreat aaxiety is evinced to get the Championship decided by end of this week. Many speculations are made as to wfcb; will be the winner, but conjecture is useless, as the chances have already varied very mucb. Wilson is likely to stand a good show. Hoskins wants to pull up, as he made two misses yesterday. To day in the first range of the 7th match Skinner topped the list with a score of 26; as will be seen above. I
There were a larger number of visitors on the ground to-day than there hare been since the shooting commenced. A quantity of ladies visited the Camp, also a number of children. An improvement has been effected at, the crossing place to the Camp. A tee has been constructed of about 7 or 8 feet in length, and this enables the raft-punt to be reached without the unpleasant necessity of getting the feet wet. Great excitement is evinced, over the, shooting, and streams of persons anxious to know the result were going out to Parawai up to four o'clock this afternoon.
