Our Mining Reporter.

UEAL GOLDMINING COMPANY.

A very important discovery has been made in this mine ; important not only to the shareholders, but also to the field. A large reef has been found at ,the 9Orfeet level, not yejt worked upon, vbv any of the neighboring claims. The "first stone broken out was really good specimen stuff, of- which there is a considerable parcel. This reef appears by the prospecting done in the adjoining mines to be the No. 1 or the first lode in the Waiotahi-Spur. The Company have only just struck the ree£ so that*npt much is yet known of bf}t it may be safely predicted that this reef will make a wide acquaintance soon.
