IMPERIAL CROWN.

The Imperial Crown battery has been recently idle in consequence of a condenser being in course of attachment to the engine; but the work being now completed, the battery is at full work again, 20 head of stampers being employed on stuff from the Bright Smile and 20 head on Bird in Hand stone. .The effect of this condenser will be, it is thought, a saving of coal to the battery to the extent of ten tons per week, at lea<*t.
