BRIGHT SMILE.

No. 4 or the 350 feet level is being developed rapidly. The hard ground which surrounded No. 2 lode when it was first intersected has now cleared, and in the north and south faces good genia country has set in. The width of the lode in the faces is not known, but is justly considered to be great, since quartz has been left standing on both sides of the drive. On the opposite or north side of the shaft there are several good sized veins and leaders in hand, which contain visible gold, but their identity with the shaft or No. 1 lo.de is uncertain, until the No 2 winze on No. 1 lode is broken into, which it will ta'lrc about 48 hours to accomplish.
