LOWE AND PARTIES TRIBUTE.
This tribute which for a long time was the best let by the company during the early part of this year paid one dividend, and after expending all their resources and shareholders refusing to pay any more calls was disbanded. Low and two or three other shareholders who had paid large sums for shares and believed that they might eventually be paid if they persevered have during the past nine months, been steadily working and paying calls, have •at last discovered a leader, from which they are likely to be reimbursed for most, if not all of their outlay. On cleaning up this morning a crushing
of 25 tons, including 2cwt. of picked stone, the result being 410 ounces of amalgam, which, when retorted, produced a cake of gbld weighing 201 ounces. This return when melted was reduced to 197 ounces sdwts. This will give the plucky prospectors a good dividend, besides giving a welcome addition to the company's funds, which they richly deserve. We hope that this may prove the forerunner of some returns to the company's coffers for the largo amount of money expended by them on the field.
