PARAWAI DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.
The first meeting of the ParawaiHighr way Board was held, at the schoolroom on Saturday last; all the members were present. Mr. Spencer, the late chairman was re-elected for the ensuing year, and it was proposed and carried that aj; works conimittee be appointed, ■to consist of Messrs. Spencer, Stephenson and D. G. Macdonnell. The election of Board officerswwat» t deferred till the next meeting, to be held on Saturday next. . ■
