Mr. Bullen said the accused had been examined by Drs. Kilgour and Lethbridge, and they certified that he hadboen suffering from excessive drink, but was now of sound mind. , The accused was discharged. ■■: .■'.- ";.'■'' LABGENT. Henry Chalmers was charged with feloniously, stealing a gold scarf pin, of the value of 30s, the property of William Cassin. Accused pleaded not guilty. Mr. Bullen applied for a remand for eight days to enable two material witnesses to attend who reside at Onehunga. Case remanded—bail being allowed in two securities of £25 each. ' 'DBUNKENNESS. Michael O'Loughlan was charged.with having been drunk and disorderly in" Pollen-streetGrahamstown. Defendant pleaded guilty. Fined 10s or 24 hours' imprisonment. Court adjourned.
