The following announcement appeared in the Cooktown Courier of 27th Juno. Tho advcrtiier wi'l be recognisad as a Thames pioneer :—Tho undersigned haying visited tho Palmer Eirer GoLJ-fiold, is. convinced that it is intersected by auriferous quartz lodes. He therefore begs fcare to intimate to purchasers of mining interests and sbarehol iera that he will negotiate the transfer of share* and give ever* informntion connected with the field.
