Gerry Garnbitsis, fishmonger, pleaded guilty at the Court this morning that being the driver of a motor car, he failed to stop when an accident o-cur->recl, and also to driving a car without a license. The Police-stated that accused, driving a car in .Cook Street yesterday afternoon, knocked down a girl of four years, who sustained a broken leg. Alter tbo accident accused slowed the car down and looked round, tut went on. A taxi driver who witnessed the occurrence went after the defendant and compelled him to retfirn.
