At a meeting o£ the sub-committee of the AVar Memorial held last evening, (he secretary reported that the replies received to the advertisement asking for names of parents or relatives of deceased soldiers were very disappointing. The committee was issuing souvenir programmes and invitations to the unveiling ceremony on Anzac Day to parents and relatives, but could only issue tnem to those who send in their name. It was hoped that more replies would he received before* the end of this week.

To form a Pleasant Point Miniature Rifle Club, a meeting will he held in Air Bowman's tearooms on Thursday next, at 8 p.m.
