San Luis Obispo, with an area of three milea square, is burning fiercely, and continues altogether beyond control with the likelihood of 2(3 tanks exploding, and the whole of tho contents being destroyed. The losses will run into millions beyond the first estimates. Orange gloves in the vicinity arc flooded with boiling liquid, and a veritable river of oil is flowing oyer nearly all the highways, blocking traffle. , . . The Union Company has issued a statement that their losses are inly covered by insurance, evidently in an effort- to stay Mie decline in stocks on Wall Street.
