BOWLING.

TIMARU CLUB. The Timuru Bowling Club brought its season to a suecesstul conclusion on Saturday aTternoou, when the prizes won during the season were, presented. The weather was perlect, but the attendance of members was not large, ■several having gone south to' Duneuin on the. spec.a 1 excursion train. _ Over the previous two days, the Club s annual draning, trailing and driving competitions Juki been conducted, and these were continued on Saturday afternoon. The green was in perlect order, and some hue performances were witnessed. The prize distribution was held after the .afternoon, tea adjournment, the president (Air F. J. Dunn) making the presentations. Ho referred to tiie fact that previously the Club had held a smoke concert at which the prizes were distributed, hut owing to lack of support, it had been decided to find out wlmt support would bo forthcoming by holding the event on the green. Whether members approved oi the idea lie could not say, but they would be able to express their opinion at the annual meeting of the Club. The prize list was as follows : Wilson Cup Rinks.- —J.
