The Labour Conference vote for the new Executive resulted in the election of Mr AY. Seale (president), and Mr J. Carey (secretary). Other Executive positions were also idled by members of the coalition, consisting of the former executive and the industrial section, leaving the control of fhe Labour movement in the hands tf those who hud had charge for tlio past two years, and defeating the Hod section of the party.
