As the result of this decision, the Federal Arbitration Court will commence the hearing to-morrow of the claim of the Australian Workers’ Union, representing 40,000 workers for a new award in the pastoral industry. Nearly 8000 respondents have been cited, and evidence will be heard regarding conditions in all the States, except Westralia.
