"The Daily News’’ reports that an expedition, backed by Mr Solly Joel and Sir Henry Mond, has discovered gold reefs in the Panama, allegedly bigger than the Rand reefs, and have secured concessions “for the AngloDominions syndicate. Sir Henry Mond, in an interview, stated that the expedition included Mr Calderwood, engineer of great experience in Central America, whose report indicates that there is a great gold field. Mr Calderwood suffered great privations. Under the guidance of natives he passed the old Indian workings and saw gold bearing reefs stretching away to the horizon. INTEREST IN LONDON.
