UNFORTUNATE RICCARTON CRICKETERS. . By Taleeraph—Pres. Association ASHBURTON, .April 3. Burglars who entered a private hotel early yesterday morning, robbed two visiting lliccarton cricketers, Messrs Robertson and Gurnsey of bank notes totalling £ls left in a wallet in a coat hangino- in the bedroom. The office of the 'proprietor of the hotel was entered through a window, hut the thieves were apparently disturbed, as the desk was not disturbed. This is the second case of burglary, as on Wednesday night the manager’s office at the Picture Theatre, was entered, but the thieves were disappointed, the day’s takings having been removed.
