A message from Newhaven (Connecticut) says that Dr. Bennett, nean of the School of Anatomy in the University of Virginia, addressing a convention of the American Association of Anatomists, said that the white race had advanced physically ahead of tho brown and yellow races, despite civilisation’s attributed limitations. An extensive study of dwarfs and other abnormals, showed that human beings deficient mentally and physically were common in yellow and black races, whereas there were no low types in the white. He said that many dwarfs were extremely well developed mentally and physically.
