Mrs Elliott Lynn,' in making a parachute descent from an aeroplane from 1500 feet for the benefit of a holiday crowd at Hereford, climbed from the cockpit to the wing of the aeroplane, preparatory to the descent. Unfortunately engine trouble developed, and. the machine fell. Mrs Elliott Lynn hung on in a perilous position, though the aviator grazed some trees while making the forced landing, thirty yards from a field where a football match was in progress. Mrs Elliott Lynn later performed stunts in another aeroplane piloted by herself.
