The result of n strange experiment in gland grafting is reported from Rental ix.
A year ago, Olivier, the murderer, wa.s guillotined. The thyroid gland wib removed from the body after execution, and taken to a hospital, where a young girl was lying prepared for tlie operation.
-She wa.s suffering from an affection ol the thyroid, which bad left bet mentally and physically deficient. Within Llireo months of the operation the girl improved, and after a year possesses all the powers of a normal girl el' her age.
