The stage was prettily decorated and formed a btting I background lor the ■ very elleetive tableau. , A choice programme was then gone through by tho following bulies ''gentlemen :—Alisses Fherratt (2), Gili Ties’.’ ■' Willniiglibv; isiinniH-i vu..., -Wallacii, and Alessrs -A\ bite, Logan, ’ Knihh and Oowie. Al iss Shorratt; play- 1 ed the aceompanini.cnts in a very tasteful manner. Aftci ; siipperr a dance was held. Excellent music was supplied for" the dauVe by Messrs 0. Cutter and C. McDonald, who gave their services gratis. Fxtias ■ were nicelv played by Aliss Willoughbi, | and Air Ford made a capable AEG. I During tho evening a guessing competition, for a pretty teasot given by Airs J. M. Tripp, was won by Aliss Hall. An oil painting of “Shag Rock, Sumner,” was won by Air B. Logan, and a lucky spot wait/, by Airs l< ish and Ah- ALorris. Airs AVcbb helped the cause l,v spiling sweets, and Air Hughes., livened up the intervals with competitions.’ .
