FURTHER FIGHTING. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Reuter’s Telegrams. (Received March 28, 5.5 p.m.) PEKING, March 27. Communication between Tientsin and Peking lias been cut since yesterday. This is believed to indicate lighting in the vicinity of Yangtsun. Chinese cirqjes in Shanghai report that General Fuan-Chi-Jui lias fled io the Japanese Legation, and that Marshal Wang-shi-hchen, who recently was most active in peace proposals between the combatants, has taken temporary charge of the Government at Peking, but so far there is no confirmation of this. Thirteen Russians, including three military instructors, were arrested at Canton and" deported. Several strike leaders were also arrested.
