FIRES.
BLAZE AT PALMERSTON. By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON NORTH, March 27. A disastrous file occurred early this morning, when the seed-cleaning and food-mixing factory of A. J. Palmer Ltd. was totally destroyed by fire. Fortunately no wind was blowing, and the firemen, after a strenuous fight, prevented the spread to one of Palmerston’s leading business blocks.
