SUICIDE DUNEDIN, March 26. At the inquest of Robert VTison (66), killed at the Rattray Street railway crossing, on Monday the evidence showed that deceased threw himself in front of the engine. ; The Coroner returned a verdict ol suicide. AUCKLAND MOTOR FATALITY.

He frequently represented the Hamilton Bowling Club at provincial and Dominion tournaments. Ho leaves a widow and three children, tlie eldest 19 years of age and the youngest 15 years. LORRY DRIVER KILLED. By Telegraph—Press Association. CARTERTON, March 26. A fatal accident occurred at Martinborough yesterday afternoon. I-lenry Hodges Harrison, a motor lorry driver, employed by Messrs Chapman and Sous, was proceeding to Martinborough with a load of four tons cement, and) '"■hen ascending the Otaraia cutting, a very steep pinch, attempted to change gears, but missed, and the lorry ran backwards over the side of the road, and foil 40 feet. Nicholson, a youth riding with Harrison. jumped clear and was uninjured, hut, Harrison was buried under the eapsized load. AVhen extricated bv Dr. AA’cbb lie was dead. Deceased was a married man (38), with no childien.
