ELECTION ON APRIL loth. By TYlezrapU—Prois abkodhtion WELLINGTON, March 26. The writ for the Eden election was issued to-day. 'The by-election is to take place oil loth April. The Prime Minister, in sending best wishes to Sir .James Gunson, reaffirmed Ins endorsement . and approval of Sir James’s candidature, and expressed tho wish that all tho party’s supporters in the Eden district will settle all personal and sectional differences and present a united front to the opposing forces.
