LICENSE FOR WELLINGTON TROTS. After having had dry • meetings for years at the trotting club’s race meetings at Lower Hutt, due to the refusal of' the Licensing Committee to grant a onclitional license, tins year’s meeting next Saturday will ho held under wet conditions. At the election of the licensing committee the question whether a ooncu(in lie 1 license should be granted was really the principal issue before the voters.
