INCREASE IN NUMBER REFUSED. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 24. Referring to hospital matters brought before him by a deputation from the Dannevirko Hospital Board thei Hon. J A Young, Minister of Public Health, said: “Wo have too many hospital boards alreadv, and it is a great mistake to divide them.' We get a more efficient service without division. w have 48 Boards in the Dominion; and 1 don’t think it is good to further increase the number.” The question in dispute was the division of the revenue from portions of the Patengata and Waipukurau Counties between the Dannevirko and Waipawa Board-.
