QUESTION OF LEADERSHIP. By Cable—Pres* Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. MELBOURNE, March 24. With the object of frustrating the action taken by the Management Committee of the Seamen’s Union for reregistration, a meeting of members was convened by Mr Johnson. When Mr * Walsh attempted to take charge, there was an immediate uproar, and he was howled down. A motion of no-confidence in him was carried, and he left the building, accompanied by other Federal officials and supporters.

The meeting decided to demand the withdrawal of the application for reregistration.
