The first official Rotary Conference has commenced, the delegates numbering between 300 and 400, including British, American, mid three Now Zealanders being officially welcomed at the Town Hall liy the Lord Mayor. Mr Bruce, in opening the conference, said that, rotary had an international aspect. Nothing could belter foster the greatest need between nations ;,t tho present time, namely mutu.ii knowledge, mutual understanding, and mutual respect, than tho great organisation of rotary.
