’VARSITY BOAT RACE.
OXFORD v. CAMBRIDGE FIXTURE. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. , Sydney “ Sun ” Service. (.Received March 21, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 20. Full trials leave conditions as nearly identical as possible for the boat
Extreme partisans wager more than even money. The crews did short spurts this afternoon, and disclosed little choice ot form, though Oxford's more evenly balanced and weightier
crew gave a stronger impression if driving power and latent reserve. Whether their more rugged methods will serve them in rough water remains to be seen.
