COMPETITION CLOSES TO-NIGHT. Groat public interest is being shown in the announcement of the free offer of a grand tour of Australia or New Zealand beauty spots lor the best essay on “What the Motion Picture Means to Our Community.’’ The contest is now open, and terminates at midnight to-night. It is a. nation-wide feature of Paramount’s third “greater movie season,” which will he celebrated m Australia and New Zealand. . The tour of Australia or New Zealand will bo awarded to the write! of the best essay (not to exceed ~ou words). Ideas and information as to tho value of tbo motion picture to civic and community life are wanted. An essay of' 50 words may win the prize. The essay must be accompanied by the application form printed below or obtained from any motion picture theatre celebrating Paramount s “greater movie season.
