By Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIER,, March 19. Tho fifth and last wool sale of the Ecason in Napier was held to-day, when 14,500 bales were offered to the usual Jbeneh of buyers.
Competition was keen, and prices, taken all round, were on a par with those ruling at the February sale. The range of prices was:— Down—Average, 13Jd to laid. Medium half bred, average Ilfd. Coarse half bred, average 13d to 15Jd, inferior TOd to 11-jcl. Fine crossbred, average 12Jd to I4Jd, inferior Old to lljd. Medium crossbred, average 13d to 14Jd, inferior Bj-d to 10-Jd. Coarse crossbred, super 12d to 14d, average 9£d to Hid, inferior 8d to Old.
Low crossbred, average 9;]d to lid, inferior Bid to 9jd. Hoggets, line 11 Id to 14$d, medium, lid to 14Jd, coarso lOd to 13}d. . Lambs, line 12d to 15R1, medium lOd (to 13£d, seedy and inferior 73d to 10id.
Crossbred prices. super 10j-d to 12d, average 8d to 9Jd, inferior 5d to 7Jd. Necks, 10d to 12.1 d. Bellies, good to super 8d to lOd, inferior 6d to 7d.
Cru'tchings, goo<l to super 8d to lOd, low to inferior 3id to 7Jd. Looks, crossbred 4Jd to 6d.
