Ratepayers of the South End are requested to attend a meeting of the South itnd Ratepayers’ Association at the South School on Thursday next at 7.30 to elect a chairmen and a member of executive.
Tho Railway Department advertise excursion fares and train arrangements in connection with the trotting races at Oamaru on Saturday, 23rd instant. Special tickets will bo issued from Timaru to Oamaru, available for day of issue only—fares 8s 6d first-class, and 5s 9d second-class.
