FRANKLIN SEAT.
REFORM CANDIDATES. By Tolecrai'ii —Pro?". AssorUtion. AUCLKAND, May 15. The election committee of the late Prime Minister b.vs informed Mr J. N. Massey of its unanimous wish that lie should stand for the Franklin seat, so long held by his father. Although he has not yet given •' definite reply, members of the committee feel that Mr Massey will comply with their wishes. Another candidate in the Relorm interests is definitely proposed. A meeting of Reform supporters at Papakura to-day decided to ask the Rev. W. C. Wood to stand, and urged the Reform Party to choose him as n otticial candidate. No announcement of candidates has yet been made by the Liberal or Labour Parties.
