Entries for the Fail-lie Hunt’s point-to-point meeting, to be held on Thursday, May 28, close with Mr H. H. Fraser on Wednesday next. It is stated that Te Kara is to bo taken to Queensland before being brought back to New Zealand. When he won the City Tatter-sail's Cup at Randwick, he returned very fair odds. It is reported that Songbird throw off the soreness that characterised him during the progress of the South Canterbury Jockey Club's fixture, and is now working soundly again. The position in regard to the Kilbroney horse may now be reviewed, and it is on tho cards that his preparation will be continued in the meantime.
