THE MOUAT TRIAL.
OPENS TO-DAY. By Teleeraph—Press Asßoclstlaa. CHRISTCHURCH, May . 11. The trial of Frederick Peter - Mouat, on a charge of having murdered his wife, Eileen Louise Mouat, at St. Martin’s on or about February 20 last, will begin in the Supreme'Court before Mr Justice Adams at 10.30 a.ni. Mount, in the Magistrate’s Court on April 18, was committed for trial after the hearing of the case b,ad occupied two davs and a half. Mr A. S. Donnelly, Crown Prosecutor, will conduct the case for the Crown, and Mr C. S. Thomas (with him Mr Sim) will appear for Mouat.
