APRIL WEATHER.

RAINFALL RECORDS. Mr D. N. Harper, Parle Curator, re* ports for April as follows ihe rainfall lor April was 2.10m5. Ram fell on seven days, the maximum mil being .94 on the 14th. The total bright sunshine for the month was 135 hours 2d minutes, an average of 4 hours 31 minutes per day. Tne most lor any day was 1U hours 31 minutes. On five duvs there was no sunshine. Mr R. T. Searles, Levels, reports that ram fell on ten days, the heaviest fail being 1.01 inches oil April 16. ihe total fall for the month was 1.94m5. Mr A. J. Blakiston reports that at Orari (Jorge the fall was 6.06m5. Ram fell on ten days, the maximum fall Wmg 2.341 ns on April 15. In April, 1924, the fall -was s.2(ins. . Mr (J. L. Tweiityman reports that at Lower Seadowii 2.64 ms fell, the heaviest fall being I.6oins on April 15. _ Mr W. H. Bishop, Lyalldale, writes that rain fell on four days, the heaviest fall being 56 points on April 16. Ihe total for the month was 138 ins. Mr B. R. Macdonald, “Waitui,” Geraldine, reports that the total -fall was 3.7oins, the heaviest fall being 1.61 on April 15. In April last year the fall was 3.2oins.

Mr James Bishop, Pleasant Point, writes: Rain lei! on seven days during tliei month, the heaviest fall being 20 points, on the 16th. The total for the month was 99 points. Mr J. McGort, Limestone Valley, Albury, writes that the rainfall in his district amounted to 2.4 ins, the. heaviest fall being So points on April 16. Mr P. R. Talbot, Claremont, writes that the fall there for tho month was I.6sins, compared with 2.2oins for April last year, and 2.33 ms for April, 1923. Mr A. E. Gillingham, Cave, writes that the rainfall at Cave for April was I.22ins. Rain fell on seven days, the heaviest fall being 57 points on tlie 15th.

Mr M G. Williams, Geraldine Downs, reports that tho rainfall for April amounted to 3.l9ihs. Rain fell on six davs, the heaviest fall of I.23ins being registered on the morning of the IGth. Tho highest shade temperature was S2, on April 2. and the lowest, 34, on April 13 and IS.
