The Judge discharged the application re inviolability of telegrams.-Mr J. L. Gillies, M.P.0., addressed his constituents at Tokomairiro last night, and received a vote of confidence, after which he was presented with a purse containing seventy-five sovereigns by Mr Clark, M.P.C., on behalf of the constituents. Mr Gillies admitted the necessity for the abolition of provincial institutions. Nelson, Saturday, 7.15 p.m. The ship ' Ocean Mail,' with 400 immigrants, 81 days out, has just been signalled. •
