The question of legality of mail coaohes paying tolls having been decided once in this province in favour of mail coaches, will be again, raised in Wellington by Mr Young, coach contractor, who gained the the former case at Wanganui.—The tender of Messrs'Brogden for Kakanui and Island. Creek Bridges, Otago, for £6,636, has been accepted. Lyitelton, Mondon. ' Sailed: The ' Tasso,''for Auckland, with 703 sacks of oats, 253 saoks of bran, 604 sacks of potatoes, 375 sacks of wheat,' 30 sacks of flour, 6 cases of cheese.
