At the hearing of Macfarlane's case to-day, Dr. Home said that if Major Keddeirdid not appear by Wednesday, the Bench'would dismiss the case. Mr Bees replied that he never heard such a statement from a Benoh, and would report it to the Government. Dr. Horne corrected himself, and said he meant he would proceed with the case.
