Tho tender of Mr. James Wallace, at £l3 10s, was accepted for this work. There 'will be three double lights in tho aisle, two brackets in the chancel, and one in each porch. As other townspeople near the church require thoir homes lit by gas,, a deputation will wait on the board this evening, asking them to extend the main street pipe to the church, thus having full control. At present the church is going to lay this pipe, which if carried out will bo a private one and bar others from using it.
