POLICE CO U RT.— Yesterday. [Before YY. Fif AS EH, Esq., E.M.] DRUNKENNESS. Mary Robinson, charged with being drunk in Owen-street the previous day, and also with being an habitual drunkard, was fined 10s or 24 hours’ imprisonment, and was also sentenced to' 3 months’ hard labour. John Ward, charged with being drunk in Abrahaui-street the previous night, was fined 10s or 24 hours’ imprisonment. TRANSFER of license. An application for a transfer of license from Edward Le.yl - .\nd to S. B. Percy for the Court House Hotel, Queen-street, was granted. The application was made by statutory declaration by Mr Percy, who declared that Mr Leylaml was not now in occupation, and refused to give up the lice nce. No ( bjection was made to the present application.
