Per the New Zealand Press Association. 0 FISH ELECTED MAYOR OF DUNEDIN BY A LARGE MAJORITY. WELLINGTON. Monday. The wife of George Hunter, the member for the City, died this morning. The Advertiser plant has been bought by O’Connor, the member for the Duller. DUNEDIN. Monday. Fish has been elected Mayor by a majority of 679. CHRISTCHURCH. Monday. Stevens declines Heathcote nomination, thirteenth Poll, August the second. No other candidate.
