AUCKLAND.
Tuesday. In the Siffteme Court to-day, the case of Williams v. Messenger was concluded, and resulted in a verdict for the plaintiff, with damages, £220. Caledonians advanced to £45, and receded again to £36 10s. Thames are £B. The Harbour Board have passed a resolution instructing Captain Burgess to consult the Crown Prosecutor as to whether sufficient evidence exists to take an action against the Captain of the Nebraska, and if so, to lay an information against him.
