ACADEMY OF MUSIC.

Dr Carr, at the Academy of Music, last night, displayed to the utmost satisfaction of those present the amusing and intensely laughable effects of nitrous oxide —Laughing Gas—laughable in the most extreme degree, judging from the eccentricities of the subjects, and the prolonged roars of laughter and merriment irresistibly evoked from the auditory. Laughing, singing, dauciug, leaping, boxing, mental iutoxication, and every variety of psychical and physical phenomena were the order and rage of the whole night. The seance was a perfect success, and the enjoyment of everyone in the crowded hall was self-evident. The doctor has issued his programme for this evening, and lias determined to convert the whole body of the hall into a pit, at shilling prices.
