SIR CHARLES DTLKE’S MOTION ON THE CIVIL SERVICE. GREAT EARTHQUAKE AT ATIOCII. —FIFTEEN HUNDRED PERSONS KILLED. (From the “ Argus’s ” Extra.) April 6. Prince Arthur is going to England for two years. Dr Dean has succeeded Sir Travers Twiss as Vicar-General. The turret ram Thunderer lias been launched.
