WE HEREBY give notice that we desire to construct a WATER RACE for Mining purposes, commencing at a point at Clarkson’s Battery, and terminating about 300 feet below Clarkson’s Battery, as shown on plan lodged in Warden’s office. The length of such Race is 300 feet, or thereabout, and its intended course is along the course of the Shellbach Creek. The mean depth and breadth of sifeh race is 15 inches by 12 inches, and it is capable of carrying 5 sluice heads of water ; passes through Pukchinau Claim. The length of such Race is 400 yards, or thereabout, and its intended course is along the side of the Creek.
