Monday. Brogden has made the following proposals for constructing the water-race at Mikonui, through his agent, MiTribe, M.H.It. He requires a fifty years’ license for five chains of land on each side of the race for a distance of twenty-one miles, and a special grant for mining purposes five chains wide the whole length of the race, along the lower side. These terms have excited the greatest dismay here.
