CORRECTION
To the Editor ot the TIIAMKS (ifAUDIA.v. Pin, —Will you kindly correct an error which occurred in your last 'Wednesday’s District Court report, and which was only brought under my notice last Saturday. In your issue of the 7th of February in reporting the Bankrupt ease of Grubb it was made to appear that I, on behalf of the bankrupt, had applied to Mr Warner, the Official Liquidator, for information which had been refused by him. This is incorrect, inasmuch as I simply stated what my client had told me. My statement amounted to this—That I was instructed by the bankrupt that he, through a friend, had applied to the Official Liquidator for information as to the amount of the bankrupt’s liability to a certain Goldmining Company, and that such information had been ref used by the Official Liquidator. I did not make Ihe remark upon the mere instructions of Mr Grubb, but saw the friend referred to, who corroborated his statement. —I am, &c., J. E. Dodd.
