SUDDEN DEATH.

A very melancholy case of sudden death occurred at Bridgewater Park, on the banks of the river Loddon, some days ago. A young man named Failes Brooks was working in Mr Joel Horwood’s paddock on Monday last. When tne work was going on he was seen to suddenly fall to the ground, and in a few minutes expire. The cause of death was disease of the aortic valves. From documents found in his possession it was evident that he had been well connected. Amongst other things, there was found on him a notebook, well worn by the fingers of time, and this book was full of quotations from Greek and Latin authors, there being every indication that its late owner was possessed of a liberal and classical education. It was stated that he had been a member of tho University of Cambridge.
